The bulk material handling system is the heart of every mine or processing plant. Its design and reliability is at the very core of your productivity.
Since 1985, we have been designing, installing and servicing bulk materials handling systems for some of North and South America’s most demanding mines, power plants, cement plants and other heavy-duty applications. We have a well-earned reputation for delivering safe, effective and efficient solutions, on time and on budget. Companies like Taseko Mines, Barrick/Placer Dome, LafargeHolcim (Lafarge Cement), McInnis Cement, and many others, trust TEP—again and again.
The TEP Group of Companies (TEP) consists of two bulk materials handling design/supply companies and one full service bulk materials handling design engineering group. All three companies are operated by a common private ownership group.
TEP operate sales and project offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, Toronto, Ontario. TEP handles bulk materials handling projects throughout North America and export projects to Central & South America, Africa, Russia and Asia.
Our USA operating company, Transcontinental Engineered Systems, (TES) operate sales and project offices in Washington State and Ohio. TES handles bulk materials handling projects throughout the USA, where the owner or EPCM/AE prefers to deal with a USA based business.
TES also acts as exclusive North American representative licensee for the SICON Enclosed Belt Conveyor System – part of the Conveyor Belt Group of ContiTech AG. More information about SICON is available here ( http://tep.redrocketblastoff.com/conveyors/sicon-conveyor/)
Conveyor project engineering & design is handled “in house” by our Ohio-based full service engineering group – RDStolz Engineering LLC (RDSE). Our staff is comprised of registered professional engineers, numerous designers and drafters with many years of practical knowledge and “hands-on” experience in the conveyor systems area.
Safety is Paramount
At TEP, we take safety seriously. Handling bulk materials safely is a responsibility, and our solutions are designed to be safe—in terms of equipment reliability—and to encourage safety—in the way the work environment is planned and built. We are strong advocates for safe work practices. When a new TEP system is installed, we help with training your personnel to help you instill a safety-first work culture.
Within our company, and among our vendors and sub-trades, TEP has a strong and well-established culture of anti-discrimination. We take racism and sexual harassment seriously and require all our employees and contractors to promote acceptance and tolerance at all times.
Our Commitment to the Environment
Industrial applications, by their very nature, affect the world around us. At TEP, we seek at all times to design and construct our systems to minimize our environmental impacts and promote industry-wide sustainability. We constantly research and invest in new technologies, and strive to apply the best available solutions, for energy efficiency and minimal impacts on air and water.
